Hendricks BBQ Restaurant Review

Missouri is a barbecue-loving state and home to some of the best barbecue spots in the nation.

Hendricks BBQ is a restaurant located in Old St. Charles, Missouri. Hendricks is one of the BEST barbecue restaurants in Saint Charles and by far my favorite. Not only is the meat so delectable that it is practically falling off the bone, but they also have scrumptious barbeque pairing sides that we all love. I tried moonshine for the first time at Hendricks, and it did not disappoint.

I am from Texas, so if you are going to make barbecue, you have to do it right!

The Food

The barbecue is smoked fresh in-house, and the sides are made from scratch. In addition to barbecue, Hendricks has everything you could want, including nachos, quesadilla, salads, blueberry pie, and a variety of sandwiches.

My favorite meat options are baby back ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey, brisket, smoked wings, and sausage. My favorite sides are the baked beans, fries, and green beans. I tried the potato salad and did not like it. I suggest skipping it. I have been many times and pretty much tried it all.

Hendricks BBQ- The food is so good that I forget to capture pictures as soon as it comes out. This meal was destroyed in minutes.

The Drinks

The moonshine was an enjoyable drink and strong. It had a potent smell and taste. I also had the Perfect Manhattan, and it is a good option if you are looking for a drink that isn’t sweet.

You can eat inside the restaurant, order takeout, or have your food delivered.

The Ambiance

The inside of the restaurant is contemporary with dim lighting and a blues bar ambiance. To no surprise, there is a Moonshine Blues bar that you can rent out for parties. The area is decorated with soft lights and bright hand-painted murals of blues and jazz singers.
