A Thai Massage in Bali
She stood 5 feet tall. As soon as I saw her, I knew that my world was about to be rocked. She used her entire body to climb onto my legs and went to work. She put her feet on my back. She stretched and pulled my body into many different positions. For a minute, I thought that I was going to break. There were times that I contemplated telling her to stop, but I knew from prior experience in Thailand to let her proceed.
I almost fell asleep, but I forced myself to remain awake to fully enjoy the feeling. As something hit the floor, I peeped through the tiny hole and noticed that change fell out of her pocket, next came a mini comb, and finally, a pen. She didn’t skip a beat. “Karisha, are you ok?” “Umm-hmm.” I barely mumbled. As she dug her elbow into my back, she told me that I was strong. At that moment, I knew that I would not break. Our bodies can handle almost anything. It is the mind that needs convincing. Someone so little delivered so much force.
My curiosity prompted me to grab her hand, our fingers interlocked. Her hands were the size of a child. I was stretched and pulled until my pain was finally set free. She touched me gently to turn me over. After about 5 minutes, I was out for the count. I woke up feeling loose, free and stretched out. I walked away with no more back pain, and the crook in my neck was gone. She has one son and has been married for eight years. Sidi, my lovely masseuse, is from Jaffa, Indonesia.
