Magic Kingdom Park | Walt Disney World Resort

Take a break from everything that is going on in the world, and come with me to the happiest place on earth- Walt Disney World- Magic Kingdom.

We arrived at our resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, at around 11:00 pm on a Wednesday, and was up by 6 am Thursday to get an early start at the park.

Our first stop was breakfast at the resort. I had mickey mouse shaped waffles, hash browns, sausage, and bacon. The cafe at the resort had so many delicious treats to choose from.

Disney World Food

Let the fun begin!

Magic Kingdom is divided into six lands:
1. Main Street U.S.A.
2. Fantasyland
3. Adventureland
4. Tomorrowland
5. Frontierland
6. Liberty Square

1. Our first land was Main Street U.S.A. From Main Street, you can see the castle, so we had to take pictures. There are man shops and restaurants on main street. The only attraction in this land is Walt Disney World Railroad, so we hurried to our next adventure.

We opted for three fast passes- Princess Tiana, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Splash Mountain. Once we used our initial three passes, we were able to get more depending on availability.

2. Our next land was Fantasyland!

Princess Tiana & Rapunzel
“I’m gonna do my best to take my place in the sun.”

Princess Tiana is inside Princess Fairytale Hall. If you are going early in the morning, you will not need a fast pass because there is usually no line early in the morning. Princess Tiana is just lovely. Her dress flows behind her, just like in the movies. While you are there, you can also meet and take pictures with Rapunzel.

The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh

“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh is such a fun ride for kids of all ages and heights. You travel in a honeypot thought the forest. There are many interactive games for the kids to play while waiting to get into the honey pot.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
“Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s home from work we go!”

We took a ride through the diamond mine from Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. The line is incredibly long but worth the wait. This ride is for children 38 inches above, as it is a thrill rollercoaster with many small drops.

3. Our time in Fantasyland was short-lived, we quickly sped off to Adventureland.

 Magic Carpets of Aladdin
“A whole new world a new fantastic point of view. No one to tell us, “No” or where to go, or say we’re only dreaming.”

Our next stop was the magic carpets of Aladdin. This ride is for kids of any height, and all ages. This is a slow spinning ride on a colorful carpet while listening to Middle Eastern music. If you are seated in the front, there is a lever that you can push up and down on to command how high or low you wish to go!

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
This attraction is for kids of all ages and all heights. This is not a ride, but a tour of a treehouse. There are 116 stairs to reach the top.

Then we took a break and had a quick snack- mickey mouse shaped pretzels, ice cream, and water.

Finally, the ride I had been waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean!
This is a ride for kids of all ages and heights. It is a voyage in a boat, to a time long ago when pirates ruled the sea. It is a slow ride with small drops, but it is very relaxing and enjoyable.

4. Now, off to Tomorrowland!

Tomorrowland Speedway
After Pirates of the Caribbean, we were off to Tomorrowland Speedway. To participate in this attraction, children must be 32 inches tall, but it is for children of all ages. You control your vehicle as you take a scenic ride around the racetrack while viewing iconic attractions visible from your car.

We took a break for food at around 4 pm. I had a burger and French fries. Yummy!

Astro Orbiter
This ride is also for children all heights and ages. On this ride, we rode around the galaxy on our spinning aircraft. Lots of fun!

Space Mountain
Up next was one of my favorite rides, Space Mountain. To ride, children must at least be 44 inches or taller. This is a futuristic rollercoaster ride through the galaxy. This is a thrill ride with twists, turns, and big drops.

5. Our last stop, Frontierland!

Splash Mountain
After space mountain, we went straight to splash mountain. We had a fast pass, and there was not much of a wait since it was really late, and near park closing time. This was one of my favorite rides at Magic Kingdom. The height requirement is 40 inches. Splash Mountain is a thrill ride with water and big drops. The ride features 950,000 gallons of water, three dips, and a five-story drop. If you are seated in the front, you will get soaked!

I can’t forget my bubbly drink!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big thunder mountain railroad is a wild ride in the wilderness. Children have to be at least 40 inches to ride because it is a thrill ride with small drops.

6. Liberty Square
We did not make it to Liberty Square because out of all the lands, it has the least amount of activities. There are four attractions: liberty square riverboat, the hall of presidents, prince charming regal, and hunted mansion. Sadly, we were not interested in any of those rides.

My top four rides at Magic Kingdom are Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirate of The Caribbean, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

We stayed at the park until around 10:30 pm. After a full day, we were beat! We went back to our hotel and went straight to sleep to prepare for our next adventure: Hollywood Studios.
